Oh this piece gave me a great revelation - i have 2 equal parts to my brain i am very balanced, it has always been evident. so i suppose it doesn't surprise me that i have 2 equally evident and balanced styles of art. on the one hand i am very ordered, process, excellence driven and a creative problem solver . it is reflected in my landscapes and my special pieces like my Grandchildren and Sunflower type of pieces. but the other equal part of my brain is my little scientist LOL always testing and proving everything, always learning, experimenting and playing using all my hypersensitivities just working out the world and people tick - this piece helped me understand the concepts of abstract, conceptual and surreal and why because i realized this is how i express this part of me - i am a very happy girl for this new knowledge. i love both styles equally, as i have learnt to love both sides of me equally - this one is so far, the best expression of my experimentation, emotions and se...
My Journey as an artist started in March 2017, I was highly encouraged to pursue painting, to become an Artist. Outside of my Counselling experience of Art as a form of therapy, i knew nothing. So with much Cohesion and praise, to which i am extremely grateful now, I learnt to embrace this journey and to see where it leads me. After all, I have a passion for learning and i can teach myself, so why not. Now, nearly 5 years later I have discovered that Art is a part of who I am, a reflection of Me, as within so without.
